noun. A point on an object at which a lifting jack is applied; any of several locations on the underside of a motor vehicle where it is safe to apply a jack, especially a location that has been designed especially for this purpose.

Can you put a jack on the axle?

Yes, you can position jack stands under the axles. The proper placement depends on which part of the car you’re working on, though. If you’re doing work on the axles, it might be better to place them under the frame of the vehicle.

Can you jack up one side of a car?

Although it is possible to jack up a car on any of its left or right sides, it is much better to do so from either the front or back of the car which accords greater stability. As a rule of thumb, never jack up a car on anything except on level and flat ground which preferably should be concrete structures.

Are there front lift pads for Dodge Charger?

We have made our production set of front lift pads for the 2010 to 2021 Charger. They are made of billet aluminum and will come in sets of 2 because the rear of the Challenger/ Charger has lift pads. They come with mounting tool. No lift pads are need for the back because the car has them…
